OUR JOURNEY
DAY 1 Prince Rupert, | Canada
On arrival, meet our Trip Leader and cross the channel to check in to your harbor-view room at the Crest Hotel.
DAY 2 | Coastal Whale Watching Expedition
Venturing out onto the waters beyond the sheltering islands of Prince Rupert Harbor is a great way to appreciate the coastal beauty of the temperate Pacific rainforest. At this time of year, it’s also a great place to see migrating Humpback whales. Tonight, enjoy the region’s fresh bounty with wine. meals b+d
DAY 3 | All aboard VIA Rail to Prince George
Board the VIA Rail Canada train this morning to begin your 2-day daylight journey across British Columbia to
the Rocky Mountains. This is a true voyage-of-discovery into the natural wonders and history of the region. The ancient traditions of the First Nations, the not-so-distant pioneer days of stern- wheelers and steam engines, and the colorful legacy of gold miners have all left their mark along the tracks. Enjoy congenial onboard dining including wine with dinner and step off in Prince George this evening for an overnight at the Coast Inn of the North. meals b+l+d
