DAY 4 | Following its turbulent years in the 1980’s, historic Medellin has emerged as a beacon of progress and civic pride. Learn about the city’s urban arts scene with local street artists and listen to musicians playing in Berrio Park. Ride the Metro Cable Car up to Santo Domingo and take in the views
as our guide shares insight into Medellin’s amazing transformation over the years. b
DAY 5 | Fly to Bogotá and check in to the Four Seasons Hotel. This evening, mingle with friendly residents at a local cafe and maybe even join them for a round of tejo, a lively game popular across Colombia. Dine tonight atop Monserrate Hill. b+d
DAY 6 | An early morning visit to the city’s largest and most colorful market is a great way to experience daily city life. Then explore La Candelaria, the city’s finely preserved historic district, and marvel at the vast collection of pre-Columbian artifacts at the Gold Museum. Then get to know the works of Fernando Botero at a museum dedicated to the paintings and stylized sculptures of this celebrated Colombian artist. b
