DAY 1 | Welcome to Alaska On arrival, you’ll be escorted to the River’s Edge Resort.
DAY 2 | Explore Fairbanks Enjoy a tour of this riverfront city, with its thriving arts community and Alaska Native culture. On a family farm in the Goldstream Valley, join the owner and their reindeer to explore the boreal forest and learn about this Far North ecosystem. You’ll also tour the Museum of the North and spend time with an engaging local resident to learn about life in the far north. Toast your fellow guests at tonight’s welcome dinner. meals b+d
DAY 3 | By deluxe dome rail
+ Deep into Denali
Board the Alaska Railroad train and relax in your reclining leather seat with 360˚views through the full-length glass dome. Vistas
of the Nenana Gorge signal our approach to Denali. Step off at midday and embark the 92-mile journey that will take you to
the end of the Park Road. Keep your eyes sharp for sightings
of Denali’s Big Five – Bear, Moose, Caribou, Wolves and Dall Sheep. Check in to your log cabin accommodations at the Kantishna Roadhouse, deep in
PACIFIC
Adventure and explore the boreal forest on a network of 9 ziplines and 3 suspension bridges. Enjoy a free afternoon or join an optional Flightseeing Tour around Denali’s 20,000-foot peak, weather permitting. meals b+l
DAY 7 | To Mt. Alyeska
Travel into the picturesque Matanuska-Susitna Valley and discover a land of pure Alaska wilderness – towering peaks, deep glacier valleys, pristine rushing rivers – and abundant wildlife! On a private visit to a Musk Ox Farm, you’ll get up close to these Ice Age mammals and learn about their work to preserve this once-endangered animal. After lunch featuring the valley’s farm-to-table bounty, tour the Alaska Native Heritage Center with a Native Alaskan. Continue on the Seward Highway as it hugs the coast between the Chugach Mountains and the waters of
the Turnagain Arm. Arrive in Girdwood and check in to the Hotel Alyeska. meals b+l
DAY 8 | Kenai Fjords Cruise As you journey around the Turnagain Arm and over the Kenai Mountains, keep your eyes peeled for bald eagles, moose and Dall Sheep. Arrive Seward for an afternoon cruise into Resurrection Bay and Kenai Fjords National Park – home to
calving glaciers and the massive Harding Ice Field. These waters are teeming with marine life including stellar sea lions, harbor seals, Dall porpoises, and a variety of whales – Humpback, Orca and Minke. Enjoy this evening’s farewell dinner and another night at the Hotel Alyeska. meals b+l+d
DAY 9 | Depart Anchorage After breakfast, we’ll take you to the Anchorage Airport. meals b

DAY 5 | By rail to Talkeetna Make the return journey along the Denali Park Road and board the Alaska Railroad train, again with deluxe seats in the upper level dome car. Enjoy lunch and take in the views as you cross Hurricane Gulch on a 914-foot long bridge. Arrive Talkeetna and check in
to the Talkeetna Alaska Lodge. meals b+l
DAY 6 | Choose an adventure Tailor the morning to your taste for adventure with one of our included expeditions: A Jet Boat Ride on the Susitna River offers views of the Alaska Range and
