DAY 4 | Today we’ll explore more of the Rio Negro, venturing into remote rainforest areas rarely seen by others. This evening we’ll sail up a small east bank tributary for a night safari deep in the jungle. With sharp eyes,
we might espy nocturnal species like the crocodilian caiman. Back onboard, you might relax with a traditional caipirinha cocktail and maybe even learn to samba. b+l+d
DAY 5 | Arise early to go in search of wildlife as they begin their day; it’s a lively time in the jungle! After breakfast, enjoy another expedition into the forest. This afternoon, cruise along the Encontro das Aguas, where the brown waters of the Amazon and the darker waters of the Rio Negro flow side-by- side for miles without mixing. Pink and gray river dolphins can often be seen along this stark line of contrasting currents. b+l+d
DAY 2 | Board the M/Y Tucano and cruise up the Rio Negro. Our 9-cabin expedition ship immerses you in the sights and sounds of the jungle. The afternoon finds us in the Anavilhanas Archipelago. Join our naturalists to explore the dense forests, alive with monkeys and exotic birds. After dinner,
