DAY 3 | Fly to the Galapagos Islands
We include your flight to Baltra Island where you’ll board our intimate expedition vessel, La Pinta. Settle in to your Upper Deck outside stateroom and then explore South Plaza Island, home to sea lions, iguanas and a rich variety of birds. DAYS 4 - 6 | Ashore with our naturalists Morning and afternoon expeditions at six landing sites on Santa Fe, San Cristobal
and Española Islands promise up-close observation of wildlife including Galapagos tortoises, the unusual Santa Fe land iguana, marine iguanas that dive into the sea to feed, and all three species of boobies: Nazca, blue- footed and red-footed. Places like Gardner Bay on Española are ideal for exploring with free snorkeling equipment and by sea kayak or glass-bottom boat. meals 3b+3l+3d
DAYS 7+8 | Charles Darwin Research Center + To the mainland for departure Visit the esteemed Charles Darwin Research Center where you’ll see giant Galapagos tortoises that are part of their ongoing research to ensure their survival. Then fly to Guayaquil or Quito for an overnight and transfer to the airport the next morning. Or connect to your international flight on the same day. meals 2b
