DAY 6 | Valladolid + stay at Chichen Itza Our touring across the Yucatan interior
begins at Casa de los Venados, home
to Mexico’s largest collection of folk art. Discover the Colonial heritage of Valladolid and have lunch at Hacienda Selva Maya. Then we check in to the Mayaland Hotel at Chichen Itza. Tonight, these 1,500-year-old ruins come to life at the thrilling Sound & Light Show. meals b+l+d
DAY 7 | Sunrise at Chichen Itza + Izamal As guests at the Mayaland Hotel, we’ll enjoy a sunrise tour of Chichen Itza before the influx of day visitors. With our expert guide, we’ll see the Great Ball Court, Jaguar Temple and El Caracol Observatory. After breakfast, we travel to Izamal to see its 16th-century Franciscan Monastery. DAY 8 | The Mayan city of Mayapan This morning we explore Mayapan, the last
great capital of the Mayan Empire. With fewer visitors than other sites, we can look forward to a wonderful tour without the crowds. After lunch in Merida, we visit the Mayan World Museum; its state-of-the-art exhibits tell the story of the origin, rise and fall of this once-great civilization. We return to our ship in Progreso for cocktails and dinner. meals b+l+d

DAY 9 | A traditional village + Hacienda In the village of Nolo, we’ve arranged for you
to witness a healing ceremony performed by a Mayan priest. On a 19th-century hacienda, we’ll learn about its agricultural heritage and sit down to a lunch of regional cuisine. Return to ship and set sail for Campeche. meals b+l+d
DAY 10 | Disembark + tour Campeche Our Trolley Tour in Campeche is a great introduction to this Colonial gem. We’ll also see the fortifications at San Miguel and tour the Archaeological Museum. After lunch, we check in to the Hotel Plaza Campeche. Tonight, we dine at La Parrilla and thrill to the Sound & Light Show. meals b+l+d

Visit a Colonial home and learn about the
Yucatan version of the Panama hat - still woven by hand. After an à la carte lunch at one of Campeche’s finest restaurants, the afternoon is yours to enjoy as you wish. This evening, we dine at La Pigua and enjoy a private folkloric ballet performance at the historic Teatro Toro. meals b+l+d
